What is FounderWise?
Founding a successful startup seems to be more difficult today than ever before. FounderWise is a founder-centric resource for simplifying the process of founding a successful startup, focusing on training entrepreneurs, establishing an extensive library of original and compiled startup resources, and, of course, a place to network with other founders.

Management

Chris Early

Founder

Prior to starting FounderWise, Chris was most recently the general manager for Windows Gaming Technology at Microsoft. A gaming industry veteran, Chris led development efforts designed to extend game experiences across multiple platforms and grow Microsoft’s casual and core gaming audiences. Microsoft’s Windows Gaming efforts span Games for Windows – LIVE, MSN Games and Windows Live Messenger Games.

Previously, Chris was Studio Manager for Microsoft Casual Games, overseeing the development of Xbox Live Arcade, the operation of MSN Games and Windows Live Messenger Games, and the internal casual game production studio, Carbonated Games. Prior to joining Microsoft, Chris served as president and chief operating officer of GameSpy and executive vice president and general manager of Mplayer. Chris’s entrepreneurial exploits include founding Corporate Computer Rental and being a ComputerLand franchisee. Chris holds a BA in Economics and International Management from Claremont Men’s College.

Chris is currently on the Board of Directors of Crispy Gamer, a content focused company out to change the face of videogame journalism.

Ruchit Garg 

Founding Member

Ruchit spends his days with Microsoft as Program Manager on various aspects of Internet based gaming services, most recently multiplayer Game Services to support Internet games on Windows-7. He is also co-founder of tech startup eventNu.

In his previous avatars, Ruchit has worked in core speech research projects as software developer, worked as business development manager selling IVR, and lived through a failing mobile game startup.

Ruchit holds Masters in Computer Application from CCS University, India.

Hannah Rames

Creative Consultant and Marketing Maven

By day Hannah is a marketing, technology, and creative consultant for BuzzBee Company, a Seattle-based consultancy committed to helping innovative companies bring solutions to market that make a positive impact on the world. By night, she’s a musician, writer, art junkie, utterly unapologetic foodie, travel buff, adventurer, yogi, dance-maniac, and active participant in and producer of the MIT Enterprise Forums Venture Labs events.

Hannah spent many of her previous incarnations at Microsoft, dabbling in everything from technical support to Web production to product management and marketing. She’s passionate about creative exploration and pushing the boundaries of technology and art until they blur into each other—whether that manifests in playing with innovative gadgets and crafts, finding new ways of looking at business intelligence and analytics, or developing compelling marketing campaigns.
